Pregnancy and the birth of a child are life-changing events that all women should feel supported through.  Birth is empowering and every woman should feel proud of this accomplishment.  As your birth doula, I am here to support and assist you.  I want you to be prepared for labor and birth so you will have the birth you want.  At the same time, I want you to feel powerful and confident.

I believe that a doula’s role is to support the mom and her partner through their labor, their birth and their experience. I supply a woman and her partner with information in which they can make the best personal decisions for them.  I also provide support to the partner so that he or she is able to participate at his or her own comfort level.
